The county of Santa Clara, California, has completed a major energy retrofit of its buildings using the Wireless Pneumatic Thermostat system from Cypress Envirosystems, a subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor Corp.

The county operates 11 million square feet of existing facilities, with an annual energy cost of $15 million.
